Maria Lobato is a Liberty University intern working on her master’s in clinical mental health counseling. She is a devoted wife and mother of two, married for 24 years. She homeschooled her daughters for the past 12 years, fostering their academic growth and personal development. Deeply committed to her faith and community, Maria served as a Children’s Director and contributed in various other capacities within her church. Through these years of ministry, she has accumulated much experience working with children, their parents and families in general. Her renewed focus and purpose as a professional counselor entail walking with others in their struggles, life transitions, or personal issues. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents and women. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, off-roading and hiking.
