Dr. Martin Lara provides Christ-centered counseling to children, adolescents and families in the areas of family conflicts, domestic violence, substance abuse, anger management, career counseling, mediation, depression and anxiety, grief and loss and parenting. He received his Master Degree in Community Counseling and Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. He has been active in ministry for over 25 years and was ordained Minister in August 2000. He is currently in charge of the Hispanic Couples’ Ministry at his church. He and his wife Irma have been married for 27 years and they have six adult children. Dr. Lara provides counseling in both Spanish and English.
